International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and vigor on 21st June 22, at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Balewadi to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the world. The program commenced under the supervision of the Hon’ble Guest for the day, Mrs Manisha Sharma, Yoga Protocol Instructor from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Ministry of Aayush, Government of India, Delhi. The theme for this year's Yoga Day celebration was, ’Yoga For Humanity’.

28th February was the day of celebration in Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School Balewadi. They happened to celebrate both National Science Day to commemorate Dr. C. V. Raman for his discovery "Raman Effect" For which he received Noble Prize in the year 1930 and States Marathi Diwas, Birthday of eminent Marathi Senior poet Kusumagraj who made significant contribution in the cultural field of Maharashtra and tireless efforts have been made to make Marathi the language of knowledge. The highlight of the day was the Sarawati Pujan follwed by Palki with traditional books in Marathi carried around the school. The importance of science in our life was enhance by projecting different projects / models which was followed by project exhibition by Class XII students who displayed their wonderful projects which were acknowledged by Resp. Principal madam for both important days in our lives. She also motivated the students to work on more application based projects and research for the betterment of mankind.

Every year on 19th February, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s birthday is celebrated with excitement, especially in the state of Maharashtra. On the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti BVP Balewadi celebrated the day by worshiping Maratha warrior, Shivaji Maharaj. A small puja was conducted to seek Shivaji Maharaj’s blessings. Stage was decorated with beautiful rangoli depicting the victory of Maharashtra’s greatest warrior. With a great excitement our talented Junior versatile Artist of class 2nd A Viraj Saste sung a powada, a traditional Marathi ballad that traces its history to more than 750 years, glorified and celebrated deeds of popular folk figures and leader Chhatrapati Shivaji and Tanaji Malusare, and were also written to raise awareness on social issues such as women empowerment. Which was later followed by a speech of our ever-active Principal Mrs. Bhawana Rai who motivated every teacher to inculcate the motives and principles of Jijamata And Guru Dada Konda among our students and produce more Shivaji Maharajas in our societies and in our country, who could develop a passion to protect their motherland. Jai Hind Jai Maharastra!

On Dr. Vishwajeet Kadmaji's (Bala Saheb) birthday, 13th January 2022, the activity "Aim to Achieve 75 crores Suryanamaskar" was conducted. “When it comes to eating right and exercising, there is no ‘I’ll start tomorrow.’ Tomorrow is disease.”
As the focus of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava, is health of Indian citizens. To acknowledge the same, we took a pledge to perform 13 Suryanamaskar daily till 2nd of February 2022.

To commemorate the 78th Birth Anniversary of this visionary and legend Dr. Patangrao Kadam ji, On 8th January 2022 Principal Mrs. Bhavana Rai, staffs, teachers and students of Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School Balewadi celebrated it with full of enthusiasm. To pay the tribute, Class teachers took children for a virtual tour of all Bharati Vidyapeeth institutions and glimpses of Saheb’s noble deeds and a brief of his entire life and struggles. Children also delivered speeches and recited poems on the glory of Saheb. A Floral tribute was offered to him by Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, which was followed by, school anthem. Mr. Abhinandan, Mrs. Supriya and Mrs. Leena Pillai delivered speeches in Marathi and English respectively. Mrs. Bhavana Rai addressed the gathering with birthday wishes and motivated everyone by her speech.
One of the best ways of celebration was the contribution by entire Balewadi family i.e. the collection of requirements like groceries and emergency medical requirements in front of Saheb’s Photo that was donated to Prerna Bhavan, a home for helpless elderly people and orphans by Principal and teachers representatives. Keeping in mind the motto of Saheb that the smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention, a small step of generosity was shown by everyone like every year and believe that it would go on forever. Celebration went on almost for a week with debate and music competition held on 10th and 12th of January respectively.

Balewadi, 21st June 2021: On the occasion of the 7th International Yoga Day, Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School, Balewadi, celebrated Yoga Day virtually, along with students, teachers and parents with full enthusiasm.
A YouTube link was shared amongst all to follow the live yoga session by Anvita Singh, Yoga Practitioner from YTT Bodhi Yoga Academy, Hyderabad. The session went on for an hour i.e. from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Almost 1900 participants including staff, students, teachers and parents who were dressed in white and comfortable attire actively participated and posted their pictures of doing yoga on their social media handles and motivating others to practice yoga.
On December 11, 2014, the United National General Assembly declared June 21 as International Day of Yoga, months after Prime Minister Narendra Modi had proposed the idea.
Bharati Vidyapeeth English Medium School, Balewadi, is contributing towards the noble cause of spreading awareness about the benefits of yoga and bringing and rebuilding the lost reputation of old Indian culture.

On the onset of new academic session Bvp family has attended Motivational webinar by popular motivational speaker Nadeem Kazi through virtual webinar “Chetana-Rise Through Tough Times” organized by Athos Edsolutions. Mr. Kazi was extremely motivating and instilled freshness in every individual teacher’s mind. He successfully increased everyone’s energy level, showcased views and ideas and boosted a charismatic energy level amongst all by involving them in virtual interaction, queries, music and playful activities.
There is no doubt, he has brought positive emotions, and curiosity and of-course which will certainly enhance the enthusiasm to facilitate a mutual understanding in our teacher- student relationship.

To provide and promote education for the society, with balanced and accurate information pertaining to the student's career, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Balewadi and Athos Edu Solutions had a Brainathon excellence talk and thereby conducted a meeting with teachers and students of Class 7 and 8 respectively, on 10th May 2021. Followed by students registering for an in-depth session of discussion on 14 May on Zoom platform for an authentic information on science-based careers under NEP-2020. The speaker for the session is.
